The Peace River

The Peace River is one of the most diverse and productive river valleys in the Parkland and Boreal Forest of Canada , types of fish you may find in the Peace River are; Arctic Grayling, Bull Trout, Burbot, Lingcod, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout and Walleye.

Directions: Located 7 km west of Peace River
Wilderness Park is home to two man-made lakes which are stocked with Rainbow Trout and Grayling.

Figure Eight Lake is stocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout, which have been known to reach sizes of 22 inches or more.

Tangent Park

Located approximately 27 km southwest of Peace River, Alberta along Highway 740, and is located next the Pratts Landing, where a ferry takes you across the river.
The variety of fish you may reel in while fishing at Tangent Park are: Arctic Grayling, Bull Trout, Burbot, Lingcod, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout and Walleye.
